September 19, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) and the visiting Towson Generals (Towson, MD), saw McDonogh's soccer squad knock off Towson by a count of 2-0.
The Eagles now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Calvert Hall for a MIAA A test on Tuesday, September 19. McDonogh will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Towson drops to 0-2 on the season. The Generals travel to Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, MD) to meet the Friars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 21.
