September 19, 2023: Portland, OR 97203 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Roosevelt Roughriders soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the South Albany Redhawks.
The Roughriders (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Gresham, OR). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Centennial was overwhelmed by Aloha (Beaverton, OR), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Redhawks (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Raiders go into the 5A Mid-Willamette battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Crescent Valley nipped Thurston (Springfield, OR), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
