The Boyd County Lions prevailed the host Montgomery County Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairview for a District 64 test on Thursday, September 21. Boyd County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-19.

The Indians (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Scott County gained a win over Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
