September 19, 2023: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 The Coupeville Wolves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes to 0 in the Wolves league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orcas Island for a 1B/2B Northwest game on Thursday, September 21. Coupeville will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.
The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Mount Vernon dropped by Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA), 3-0, in a league game.
