Mississippi High School Volleyball - Tupelo over Mooreville
September 19, 2023: Tupelo, MS 38801 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) and the visiting Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS), saw Tupelo's volleyball squad beat Mooreville by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Tupelo upgrades its record to 15-13 on the year. The Golden Wave host Clinton (Clinton, MS) to play the Arrows in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. The Arrows go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Clinton lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Madison Central (Madison, MS)
The Troopers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Nettleton for a Class 3 Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 21. Mooreville will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over East Webster (Maben, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
