September 19, 2023: Nixon, TX 78140 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Prairie Lea Indians (Prairie Lea, TX), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Nixon-Smiley will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record.
