In Thursday's non-league match, the host Eastern York Golden Knights football squad scored a close 57-50 victory over the Solanco Golden Mules.

The Golden Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their match against West York Area (York, PA). The Bulldogs enter the York-Adams 2 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, West York Area got by Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA), 35-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Golden Mules confront the Conrad Weiser Scouts (Robesonia, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 match, on Friday, September 27. Solanco will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Scouts enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 38-3 league win over Manheim Central (Manheim, PA).
