California High School Football - Miramonte can't hold off Benicia
September 19, 2024: Benicia, CA 94510 Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 28-22 in a league battle.
With the win, Benicia advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA) to play the Dons in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Dons go into the battle with a record of 2-2.
The Matadors now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. Miramonte will play a Mustangs team coming off a 20-0 non-league win over James Logan (Union City, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
