September 19, 2024: Xenia, OH 45385 Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Legacy Christian Academy Knights (Xenia, OH), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Greenon moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Botkins (Botkins, OH) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-6. Botkins won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Dayton Christian (Miamisburg, OH)
The Knights now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lynchburg-Clay for a non-league test on Monday, September 23. Legacy Christian Academy will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.
