The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) and the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), witnessed Lincoln Charter's football squad edge Patton by a tally of 29-27.

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Burns was nudged by Asheville (Asheville, NC), 14-6, in a non-league contest.
