September 19, 2024: Chicago, IL 60655 St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Laurence moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Solorio (Chicago, IL) to meet the Sun Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Sun Warriors come into the test with a record of 11-2. Solorio won 5-1 in their recent league test against Goode STEM Academy (Chicago, IL)
The Crusaders now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Loyola Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Brother Rice will meet a Ramblers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-3.
