North Carolina High School Soccer - Queen's Grant nudged by Piedmont
September 19, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105 Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Piedmont moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Central Davidson won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Lexington (Lexington, NC)
The Stallions now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Carmel Christian for a test on Friday, September 20. Queen's Grant will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
