September 19, 2024: Auburn, WA 98092 Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Auburn Mountainview Lions (Auburn, WA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sumner improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Spartans host Bethel (Spanaway, WA) to face the Bison in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Bison go into the test with a record of 3-1. Bethel won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Stadium (Tacoma, WA)
The Lions now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Auburn Mountainview will face a Golden Gators squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to White River (Buckley, WA). The Golden Gators record now stands at 0-4.
