The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Cape Hatteras for a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. First Flight will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 7-2.
