September 19, 2024: Des Plaines, IL 60018 Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Niles North advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Warriors now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rolling Meadows for a non-league test on Monday, September 23. Maine West will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-3.
