Illinois High School Soccer - Barrington nudges Wheeling
September 19, 2024: Barrington, IL 60010 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) and the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), saw Barrington's soccer squad hold off Wheeling by a count of 1-0.
The Fillies/Broncos (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Hersey tipped Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Wheeling will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Saxons enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL).
