Maryland High School Soccer - Bladensburg nudges Flowers
September 19, 2024: Springdale, MD 20774 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) and the host Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD), saw Bladensburg's soccer squad hold off Flowers by a count of 3-2.
The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against High Point (Beltsville, MD). The Eagles enter the Prince George's County 4A battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, High Point tipped Parkdale (Riverdale, MD), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Jaguars battle the Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 20. Flowers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD).
