North Carolina High School Soccer - Gaston Christian toppled by Concord Academy
September 19, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Concord Academy moves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a NCISAA Metrolina test on Tuesday, September 24. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 10-2. Gaston Day won 4-1 in their recent league test against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC)
The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gaston Day for a NCISAA Metrolina test on Friday, September 20. Gaston Christian will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 9-2.
