Minnesota High School Soccer - Delano knocks off St. Francis
September 19, 2024: St. Francis, MN 55070 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Delano Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the St. Francis Fighting Saints.
The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans go into the Class A Section 6 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Orono got by Jefferson (Bloomington, MN), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Fighting Saints play the Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN).
