September 19, 2024: Los Lunas, NM 87031 Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Los Lunas moves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Artesia (Artesia, NM) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 8-2. Artesia won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
The Bengals now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silver for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Gallup will clash with a Fighting Colts team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 7-2.
