September 19, 2024: Portland, OR 97203 Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR), 7-5 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Roosevelt advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Sherwood (Sherwood, OR) to clash with the Bowmen in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Bowmen come into the test with a record of 3-0.
The Celtics now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sunset for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. McNary will clash with a Apollos team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Apollos record now stands at 2-1.
