September 19, 2024: Hawley, PA 18428 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) and the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), saw Wallenpaupack Area's soccer squad knock off Scranton by a count of 5-3.
The Buckhorns (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans enter the Lackawanna - Division I battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, North Pocono by Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Knights battle the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Scranton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).
