September 19, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28054 Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Ashbrook improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Greenwave host Berry (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-11. Berry lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
The Huskies now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crest for a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, September 24. Huss will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 5-15.
