September 19, 2024: Bear Creek, AL 35543 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL) and the host Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), observed Brilliant's volleyball team top Phillips by a tally of 3-0.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sulligent (Sulligent, AL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Sulligent was beaten by Lamar County (Vernon, AL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bears meet the Hubbertville Lions (Fayette, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Phillips will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Berry (Berry, AL).
