Alabama High School Volleyball - Murphy overwhelmed by Foley
September 19, 2024: Mobile, AL 36693 Foley Lions (Foley, AL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Foley advances its record to 9-10 on the season. The Lions host LeFlore (Mobile, AL) to face the Rattlers in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Rattlers go into the test with a record of 1-3.
The Panthers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saraland for a 6A Area 1 contest on Tuesday, September 24. Murphy will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Bob Jones (Madison, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 24-3.
