Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Illinois Valley Central advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Grey Ghosts host Tremont (Tremont, IL) to face the Turks in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Turks go into the test with a record of 15-3. Tremont won 2-0 in their recent league test against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL)
