September 19, 2024: St. Amant, LA 70774 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) and the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), observed St. Amant's volleyball team top St. Charles Catholic by a count of 3-1.
The Gators (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Covington (Covington, LA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Covington notched a victory over Parkway (Bossier City, LA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Comets battle the Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 21. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Crescents enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
