The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) and the visiting Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE), witnessed Adams Central's football squad wallop Holdrege by a tally of 48-7.

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central City (Central City, NE). The Bison enter the C1 District 5 contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Central City crushed Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE), 53-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Dusters battle the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) in a C1 District 6 contest, on Friday, September 26. Holdrege will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Whippets go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE).
