In Friday's league match, the visiting Huntington North Vikings football squad scored a nice 42-12 win over the Bellmont Braves.

With the win, Huntington North improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Vikings host DeKalb (Waterloo, IN) to play the Barons in a Northeast 8 battle on Friday, September 26. The Barons go into the battle with a record of 3-2. DeKalb won 28-7 in their recent league battle against Columbia City (Columbia City, IN)

The Braves now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Leo for a Northeast 8 battle on Friday, September 26. Bellmont will play a Lions team coming off a 56-40 league loss to East Noble (Kendallville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.
