September 19, 2025: Downingtown, PA 19335 The Bishop Shanahan Eagles football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Unionville Longhorns to 34 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Henderson for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Bishop Shanahan will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Unionville drops to 3-2 on the season. The Longhorns host Oxford (Oxford, PA) to encounter the Hornets in a Ches-Mont - American bout on Friday, September 26. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Oxford won 35-7 in their recent league bout against Sun Valley (Aston, PA)
