The Franklin Parish Patriots football team (Winnsboro, LA), was tipped 33-30 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA)

With the win, Calvary Baptist Academy advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA) to encounter the in a 2A District 1 bout on Friday, September 26. The go into the bout with a record of 3-0. D'Arbonne Woods won 49-34 in their recent non-league bout against Grant (Dry Prong, LA)

The Patriots now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Caldwell Parish for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. Franklin Parish will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Mangham (Mangham, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
