California High School Football - Foothill crushed by Capistrano Valley

September 19, 2025: Mission Viejo, CA 92692

The Capistrano Valley Cougars walloped the visiting Foothill Knights football team by a score of 42-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA) in a Delta test, on Friday, October 3. Capistrano Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 55-6 non-league win over San Dimas (San Dimas, CA).

With the defeat, Foothill drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA) to meet the Saints in a Epsilon test on Saturday, October 4. The Saints come into the test with a record of 5-0. Crean Lutheran won 38-14 in their recent non-league challenge against La Serna (Whittier, CA)
