Mississippi High School Football - Charleston defeats West Tallahatchie

September 19, 2025: Charleston, MS 38921

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) and the visiting West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS), witnessed Charleston's football squad topple West Tallahatchie by a count of 40-12.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, DeSoto Central thwarted PURE Academy (Memphis, TN), 56-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Choctaws confront the Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 26. West Tallahatchie will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 44-14 non-league loss to Hatley (Amory, MS).
