Mississippi High School Football - Choctaw County tops Kemper County

September 19, 2025: Ackerman, MS 39735

The Choctaw County Chargers football squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting Kemper County Wildcats to 36 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kosciusko for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. Choctaw County will play a Whippets team coming off a 48-21 non-league win over Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS). The Whippets record now stands at 4-0.

The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Northeast Lauderdale lost by Forest (Forest, MS), 29-2, in a non-league challenge.
