September 19, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50317 The Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) football trounced the visiting Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA), 52-19 in Friday's league contest.
The Thunder (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Hawks enter the 2A Group 8 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Woodward-Granger was trounced by Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 40-20, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Indians battle the Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA) in a 2A Group 8 bout, on Friday, September 26. Clarke will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 34-7 league loss to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA).
