Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray Blue Devils (Durham, CT), 42-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Ellington improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley/Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT) to play the Tigerhawks in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Tigerhawks go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
