The Cross Plains Buffaloes football team (Cross Plains, TX), was crushed 66-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Merkel Badgers (Merkel, TX)

With the win, Merkel advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Badgers travel to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, September 26. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 0-3. San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy lost 27-6 in their recent non-league contest against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX)

Coming up next, the Buffaloes confront the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 26. Cross Plains will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
