In Friday's non-league outing, the De Kalb Bears (De Kalb, TX) football squad trounced the host Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), by a margin of 42-7.

The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hughes Springs for a 3A-2 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, September 26. De Kalb will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 42-13 non-league loss to Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Harmony drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Quitman (Quitman, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A-2 Region III District 9 outing on Friday, September 26.
