California High School Football - Shafter beat Edison

The Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) football overcame the host Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA), 42-25 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Generals battle the St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. Shafter will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 35-7 non-league win over Centennial (Bakersfield, CA).

With the defeat, Edison drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Madera (Madera, CA) to clash with the Coyotes in a County/Metro outing on Friday, October 3. The Coyotes come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Madera lost 43-34 in their recent non-league outing against Merced (Merced, CA)
