The Edwin O. Smith Panthers football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Rocky Hill Terriers to 21 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Farmington for a Central Connecticut - Tier 3 challenge on Friday, September 26. Edwin O. Smith will face a River Hawks team coming off a 31-6 non-league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The River Hawks record now stands at 0-2.

The Terriers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT). The Warhawks enter the Central Connecticut - Tier 4 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bloomfield was defeated by Berlin (Berlin, CT), 38-20, in a non-league outing.
