September 19, 2025: Florence, SD 57235 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) and the host Florence/Henry Falcons (Florence, SD), witnessed Hamlin's football squad wallop Florence/Henry by a tally of 55-0.
The Chargers (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Redfield (Redfield, SD). The Pheasants go into the Eastern South Dakota (9 Man) bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Redfield smashed Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD), 30-22, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to DeSmet for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Florence/Henry will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-20 non-league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
