September 19, 2025: Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 In Friday's league match, the host Lyndhurst Golden Bears football squad scored a good 29-6 triumph over the Garfield Boilermakers.
The Golden Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Palisades Park/Leonia (Palisades Park, NJ). The Tigers come into the North Jersey - Colonial match with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Palisades Park/Leonia was dropped by Becton (East Rutherford, NJ), 49-7, in a league battle.
The Boilermakers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Elmwood Park for a North Jersey - Colonial battle on Friday, September 26. Garfield will play a Crusaders team coming off a 12-6 league win over Lodi (Lodi, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-3.
