September 19, 2025: Mountainburg, AR 72946 The Hackett Hornets felled the host Mountainburg Dragons football team by a score of 28-16 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR) in a 3A Region 1 test, on Friday, September 26. Hackett will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 30-6 non-league win over Lamar (Lamar, AR).
The Dragons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles enter the 2A Region 1 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Conway Christian lost by Atkins (Atkins, AR), 38-0, in a non-league challenge.
