The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) and the visiting Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), witnessed Pilot Point's football squad wallop Howe by a count of 61-13.

The Bearcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Dallas, TX). The Trojans go into the 3A-1 Region II District 6 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Madison was crushed by Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX), 52-9, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host S & S Consolidated for a 3A-2 Region II District 7 battle on Friday, September 26. Howe will encounter a Rams team coming off a 47-42 non-league win over Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
