In Friday's league match, the visiting Normal University Pioneers football squad scored a decisive 47-0 triumph over the Lincoln Railsplitters.

The Pioneers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Rockets come into the Central State Eight - East match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Rochester was ripped by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 43-42, in a league battle.

The Railsplitters now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur Eisenhower for a Central State Eight - East match on Friday, September 26. Lincoln will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 47-14 league loss to MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
