Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), 75-36 in a non-league match.

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Desert Vista routed Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 42-31, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 25. McClintock will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 27-7 non-league win over Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ).
