The McLoud Redskins football squad (McLoud, OK), was nudged 33-26 in Friday's non-league match with the visiting Tecumseh Savages (Tecumseh, OK)

The Savages (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Madill (Madill, OK). The Wildcats enter the 4A District 2 match with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Madill was tipped by Dickson (Ardmore, OK), 54-20, in a non-league battle.

The Redskins now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mannford for a 3A District 2 battle on Friday, September 26. McLoud will play a Pirates team coming off a 32-22 non-league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 3-0.
