The McNair Mustangs football team (Atlanta, GA), dropped 28-6 in Friday's league contest with the host Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA)

The War Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins enter the A D1 Region 4 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Social Circle gained a win over Utopian Academy for the Arts (Ellenwood, GA), 52-0, in a league bout.

Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) in a A D1 Region 4 battle, on Friday, September 26. McNair will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 27-14 non-league win over Westside (Macon, GA).
