Oklahoma High School Football - Okemah defeats Mounds
September 19, 2025: Okemah, OK 74859 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Okemah Panthers football team scored a nice 22-7 win over the Mounds Golden Eagles.
With the win, Okemah advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers host Frederick (Frederick, OK) to play the Bombers in a A-I District 2 battle on Friday, October 3. The Bombers go into the battle with a record of 1-2.
The Golden Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gore for a A-II District 3 match on Friday, September 26. Mounds will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 42-6 non-league win over Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.
