September 19, 2025: Pelahatchie, MS 39145 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Richland Rangers (Richland, MS) and the host Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS), witnessed Richland's football squad knock off Pelahatchie by a tally of 30-20.
The Rangers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Pisgah overcame Puckett (Puckett, MS), 26-6, in a non-league bout.
The Chiefs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sebastopol for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Pelahatchie will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 38-0 non-league loss to Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-3.
